The Nyle Mann Memorial Golf Tournament honors Nyle Mann, a MAT Member who was an avid golfer and friend of the industry. The Golf Tournament is the official start to the Annual Conference, and all are welcome to come out and play!

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Marina Association of Texas Golf Tournament, presented by Prime Dock  supplies! This premier event is designed to bring together our community while supporting our mission to promote and  reserve the beautiful waterways of Texas. This year’s Nyle Mann Memorial Tournament will be held on October 20th at the stunning Tapatio Springs Resort in Boerne, Texas, and we would love for you to join us for this unforgettable day!

Tournament Highlights

  • Helicopter Golf Ball Drop: Experience the thrill as a helicopter drops hundreds of golf balls onto the course! For just $20 per ball, you’ll have a chance to win big. The closest ball to the hole will take home 50% of the raffle pot, while the remaining 50% will support the Marina Association’s initiatives.
  • Hole-in-One Contest: Test your skills for a chance to win! If you sink a hole-in-one on the designated hole, that special Prize could be yours!
  • Contests and Prizes: In addition to the ball drop and hole-in-one, exciting challenges like Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and more to win amazing prizes as you play!
  • Special Hole Surprises: This year, we’ve upped the ante with special sponsor holes packed with exciting surprises and unique advantages! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time golfer, these fun twists will keep you on your toes and make the tournament even more thrilling. You’ll have to hit the course to experience all the unexpected perks. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out!
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow golf enthusiasts, marina businesses, community leaders, and vendors passionate about preserving our waterways. This is the perfect place to make new connections and friendships!
  • Delicious Meals Provided: Start your day with a tasty breakfast taco and enjoy box lunches during the tournament. Each participant will also receive drink tickets to keep you refreshed throughout the day!

Registration Details

  • Registration & Check in begins at 10:00 am with a Noon shotgun start.
  • Please be sure to include your Golf handicap when you register for team assignment purposes.
  • Golf Registration is separate from Conference Registration.  
  • Registration includes green fees, cart, box lunch, and more!  
  • Full payment must accompany registration. Please make checks payable to Marina Association of Texas.
  • A limited number of clubs may be available to rent on a first come, first serve basis. Contact the Pro Shop (830) 537-4197 to inquire about club rental availability.
  • Tapatio Springs also offers a service through Ship Sticks to pick up and deliver your golf clubs.  Click here for more details. 
  • Ball Drop Tickets: $20 each or 6 for $100
  • Mulligans – $10 each (limit 2 per player). Mulligans are used on the honor system and may not be used to win a special contest.
